Olney native Daniel Weiler is the Physical Therapist Assistant at the Newton clinic for the Champion Fitness Physical Therapy family. After initially receiving a degree in Industrial Design from Southern Illinois-Carbondale, he decided to change careers and received his AAS and PTA degrees from Elgin Community College. His duties will be assisting PT Cory Hanley as needed, especially in the areas of manual therapy, ortho, and joint replacements in an effort to develop that positive rapport with patients.
Daniel and his wife Sarah (a Newton native) are recent proud parents of Annalea. During his spare time at their Newton home, he enjoys kayaking, gardening, hunting, and 3D art, plus spending time with the family’s toy poodle “Cash.”
