
PT/ATC Eric Saxton joins the Champion Fitness Physical Therapy family with a lengthy list of therapeutic qualifications. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in Athletic Training back in 2007, and he became a registered Orthopedic Technologist (NAOT). He has worked with both Dr. Brian Sipe and Dr. Travis Richardson of the OSF group in their surgical office in the areas of casting, splinting, and branding, as well as serving as a trainer for Pontiac High School athletic teams. He also has gained experience in ergonomic work assessments, sport-related injuries, orthopedic pathologies, manual therapy, and biometrics. Most recently, he graduated with his Masters Degree in physical therapy from Northern Illinois University. Eric, who will be working out of the Pontiac, Dwight, and Streator clinics, will evaluate and treat patients, as well as supervise plans of care administered by other clinicians.
Eric will be married to his fiancé Allyson Eckhoff on June 2. During his spare time, he loves being outdoors, either running or playing sports, the St. Louis Cardinals, going to movies, and he really enjoys watching college football on Saturdays in the fall.
