Outpatient orthopedics, combined with experience in both nursing home care and HHC, has made Melissa Walker an important part of the Champion Fitness Physical Therapy family. A graduate of the Illinois Central College PTA program with an associates degree in Applied Science and Physical Therapy, she has been with Champion since 2000, currently working out of the Pontiac clinic. Carrying out her patient’s plan of care is tops on her list of duties.
Melissa, her husband Christopher, their three sons Josh, Alec, and Carson, and daughter Paige live in Pontiac. Family time to them means watching any one of their boys’ numerous baseball, football, and basketball games and keeping an eye on their dog, Elly.
