Michael Bennington has been a member of Champion Fitness Physical Therapy since 2001. This Forrest, IL native originally graduated from the University of Illinois with a Speech Communications degree, before he decided to change careers. He received his Master’s Degree in Athletic Training from Illinois State University in 1997 and followed that with his Physical Therapist Degree from Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in 1999. He currently divides his time among the Metamora, Morton, and Pekin clinics as a staff physical therapist and athletic trainer. He excels in handling any orthopedic, sports, or industrial related injuries.
He and his wife Amy live in Metamora with their two sons Will and Grant, along with the three pet cats, Polly, Wrigley, and Baxter. Michael is an avid sports enthusiast, especially golf and baseball, but he also enjoys family time and working on home improvements.
